ABOUT KIRSTEN

During my counselling education, I interned at the Shoal Center, where I connected with the Caregivers Support Program by creating workshops and support groups for caregivers of loved ones with dementia. This experience enriched my understanding of the unique struggles caregivers face and the support they need.

Having navigated the joys and complexities of life including parenting three boys, now young adults, and having experienced personal loss, I understand some of the nuanced ways that life’s transitions affect well-being. My compassionate approach is shaped by both my professional background and personal journey, allowing me to connect with those seeking growth and healing.

Outside of my work, I find peace in nature, whether I’m trail running, hiking, or enjoying solo camping trips in my Boler. I treasure my morning ritual of savoring coffee while connecting with family and friends, and I’m an avid fan of live performances and the power of laughter.
