Many extended benefit providers will partially or fully cover the costs of counselling.
You will need to contact your individual provider to see if they will reimburse our sessions.

If you are struggling financially, I do offer sliding scale rates which will be determined based on your monthly/annual income. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for more information.

CANCELLATION FEE

**A minimum of 24 hours noticed is required to cancel an appointment. If you miss your appointment without prior notice, you may be responsible for the full session fee.

MORE INFORMATION

BEFORE YOU BOOK

It is shown that a critical element in successful counselling is the degree of compatibility between you and your therapist. I offer a free 15 minute consultation so we can decide if we are a good fit for each other before committing to future sessions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR COVERAGE

I am a Registered Professional Counsellor Candidate (RPC-C) with the Canadian Professional Counselling Association (CPCA). Registration # 4660

As an apprenticing counsellor who is practicing under the supervision of a MPCC-S (Master Practitioner of Clinical Counselling-Supervisor), I am currently able to offer quality sessions at a reduced rate to my clients.
Many counsellors regardless of experience seek supervision guidance from supervisors who are specifically trained to provide therapy to counsellors.

WHAT HAPPENS IN COUNSELLING

Once you’ve decided on a counsellor, you will most likely fill out an intake form which provides information about yourself and your concerns. Within the first few sessions, concerns will be talked about in depth and goals may be discussed. Sessions generally involve clarifying your thoughts, behaviours and feelings, and sometimes I may involve exercises, roleplays or homework. This is a collaborative process and we will always move at a pace that is comfortable for you.
